Vins Pepe Raventós, Xarel-lo De La Vinya Del Noguer Alt 2023 (750ml)

The Vinya del Noguer Xarel·lo was the first wine Pepe Raventós produced without any added sulfites, and it ultimately inspired his Vins Pepe Raventós project. The fruit comes from a small, goblet-trained vineyard planted in 1970 on clay and limestone soils, farmed biodynamically by hand. Fermented with native yeast in a mix of large barrels and clay amphora and aged on the lees, it’s a beautifully layered Xarel·lo with a mineral backbone and subtle texture — think something with the freshness of Chablis but with a distinctly Mediterranean soul.
