Summum is a truly singular Pinot Noir from the lowest-yielding vines in the La Source parcel. The intensity is immediate – plush raspberry and fresh rose petal with porcini mushroom and smoked spice, touching on so many primary and secondary aromas profiglate in Pinot Noir. This cuvée is all about concentration of fruit and judicious oak, and there’s enough structure.
